ME
Based in the Washington, D.C. area, I am an Experience and Product Designer with a decade of experience leading complex digital transformations across tech platforms, public sector agencies, and mission-driven organizations.

Whether leading 0→1 product initiatives at Yahoo, designing websites for national advocacy groups, or crafting design strategy across federal clients, I focus on close collaboration with my teams and delivering solutions with positive impact.
Approach
My modern workflow merges foundational Human-Centered Design (HCD) methodology with rapid, code-assisted AI prototyping (using tools like Claude, live code, and Figma) to bridge the gap between design vision and production.
Background
I collaborate with agencies and organizations who provide digital services to public sector and mission-driven organizations, spanning research, strategy, and design solutions.
I served as the sole data visualization product designer with Yahoo News, where I designed a product that used real-time AI data flows to create a trending news discovery platform that helped tens of thousands of people navigate rapidly evolving information and real-time content.
I also was the founding Lead User Experience Designer at Color Of Change, where I helped shape digital product strategy and establish the organization’s first dedicated user experience and product design practice. In this role, I designed a software application for internal teams, helping to define product strategy and the design system.
Before that, I was a User Experience Design Manager at Forum One, leading multidisciplinary design work for organizations including the Smithsonian, USAID, CFPB, March of Dimes, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
Before moving into UX/UI/product design, I worked in social and economic policy research at Abt Associates, conducting qualitative and quantitative research focused on homelessness, workforce development, and vulnerable communities. That research background continues to shape how I approach deep user research, audience understanding, and complex problem solving in digital products.
